I love your browser

As some of you might know (the ones who lurk on IRC), I have been working on getting love to work in the browser.
Now see what I have made, I have a NPAPI plugin that works!
Current limitations:

• Linux only (ha!)
• Only tested on Firefox and Chromium (though should work on any other NPAPI browser as well)
• No keyboard and mouse input

Yeah, that last one was a shocker, wasn't it? Well, good thing we do have love.joystick .

Here is an early (closed-source) version of it, with a demo.
Firefox instructions: simply run run.sh.
Chromium instructions: copy or link launcher.so in your plugin dir, then open the test.html.

Hm, good point.

Anyway, this new add-in opens up a whole new reason to enable sandboxing. However, sandboxing doesn't have to be in the main version, since LOVEs should only be downloaded if you trust them, however this add-in should enable it since anything can auto-open a LOVE. However, one possibility is actually to not automatically open the LOVE and to simply present you with a "Run LOVE?" button.

Well, that's mostly a problem for chromium, the run.sh script of firefox doesn't install it, only if you started firefox through the script the plugin is actually enabled, so take it easy.

Yeah, security holes just get me really freaked out. I don't know why, but I've been like that for quite awhile. Heck, whenever I download a new LOVE game I search through all of the source searching for viral lines of code, even if it is coming from users like bartbes.
