I think what he's getting at is there is not a direct correlation between fun and frustration. You can be bored and frustrated, frustrated but having fun, or frustrated and neither bored nor having fun.

Also, PO2 issues. I tried running it in the latest build (0.8 will have autopadding for non-PO2 images), but it LOVE-bluescreened.

I can do one better: to fix the bug, remove every instance of the string ".lua" from main.lua and player.lua (require should not have the file extension in it, apparently).

Really? I always use the file extension and it works fine.

I took it out for 0.8.0, because it's wrong.

Why is that? Maybe I'm misremembering, but I don't recall require having such a distinction.

In lua, "a.lua" means "a/lua.lua" and "a/lua/init.lua" etc, not "a.lua", it's something rude kept in place to be compatible with love.filesystem.require during the switch. (Or perhaps he didn't know better either? I choose to think rude did know.) Seeing the frequent misuse, I decided I'd save people from learning it wrong by enforcing correct usage.

I didn't know the correct usage of require, also, i didn't heard about PO2 before. All ".lua"s were erased

I need 9 more testers!!

if everything goes fine i'll post some results next weekend

Everything worked fine for me, I played the game and it was mildly entertaining. Ha, this is the sort of game my brother would probably like, or anyone who likes getting high scores and stuff. The game played alright, I didn't pick up on any odd quirks or anything.

Sent the data and blah blah. Hope it helps. :neko:

I like tis game a lot : fast, smooth and simple.
I got frustration when it was impossible for me to get out of fast aliens but satisfaction when i was able to do it  .

EDIT : results sent
I'm learning...
