Older Love Files Broken?

I'm on 062, or at least I think that's what the tank is telling me and I find a lot of older Love games don't work, which is making it harder to learn some tricks by example, because I can't tell if I'm looking at techniques that would or wouldn't work on my setup. Is this a known issue with versions of Love, and if so, is there a place to get old Love?

Since Löve still hasn't hit 1.0, there is some version incompatibility. There is Adult, which can be used to automagically fix version incompatibilities between 0.5.0 and 0.6.2. You could try that.

And if you still want to use an older version of LÖVE, on the old SourceForge page are historical releases to be found. (You most likely will want to get 0.5.0, which was both the most popular and the longest-lived release. Ah, those good old days of load(), update(), draw(), center-drawn images and lack of PO2 syndrome...)
